Level P Honor – English 4 (Advanced)

AP English Literature & Composition (Alternative to English 4)
Intensive focus on reading and critical analysis of literature.
Close reading of selected texts to understand structure, style, and theme.
Study of figurative language, imagery, symbolism, and tone.
Prepares students for the AP exam and university-level literary studies.
Each year builds on previously learned skills, while gradually increasing complexity and exposure to advanced literature. The curriculum aligns with the 12 English Language Arts standards established by the Korean National Council of Teachers of English.
